Additional options
-
Spot UV
Spot UV
A special varnish to add a finish to printed matter. This varnish is applied to printed matter to achieve a high-gloss effect. The varnish can be “spotted” i.e. applied to a specific area. This will allow the chosen area of the printed matter to really stand out. UV varnish was traditionally applied by screen printers. The printed sheets would be transported to the screen printer, who would then apply the varnish.

Embossing
Embossing
Embossing adds that little extra something. More exclusivity, making you stand out from the crowd. Your text, image or logo would be embossed – this means that your text, image or logo is slightly raised or lowered. This stands out and looks beautiful!

Die/laser cutting
Die/laser cutting
Cutting out shapes from a book cover is called die cutting. When this is done using a laser, this is laser cutting. This technique allows your printed matter to be cut out in any unique shape. A die adds value to your printed matter. We have various examples.

Foiling
Foiling
Would you like to print a unique thesis or dissertation? Our foiling technique allows you to turn a thesis or dissertation into something really special! Foiling is often used on certificates, official documents, invitations and business cards. Foiling is a finishing technique where thin colored or metal foil is attached to the printed matter. Foiling is a printing procedure in which a thin foil is applied under pressure to paper at a temperature of around 130 degrees using a magnesium cliché (die) or a brass stamp.
